Parc 81 Opens Beverly Center Boutique
Parc 81 is on the move.
The men’s fashion brand debuted a boutique in the Beverly Center in Los Angeles on Black Friday, Nov. 26. The 1,800-square-foot store is located in a space that formerly housed a Planet Funk boutique.
The Beverly Center boutique is Parc 81’s third store. In 2009, the label opened Parc 81 locations at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, Calif., and at the Westfield Valencia Town Center in Santa Clarita, Calif.
The menswear label plans to open more than six Parc 81 boutiques around California in the next five years, said Jesus Moreno, manager of the Beverly Center location and a marketing representative for the brand.
Parc 81 runs a design office in Bell, Calif., located four miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, but maintains some of its corporate offices in New York. Parc 81 is owned by menswear wholesaler BJD Inc. and is partnered with New York–based Bachrach. Bachrach sells Parc 81 fashions in its 23 boutiques spread across the Midwest and the East Coast. Bachrach also manufactures suits for Parc 81.
The Parc 81 brand offers everything but shoes at its stores. It sells stylish woven shirts with extended collars and unique linings. Retail price points range from $49 for a business shirt to $1,200 for a custom-made suit, Moreno said.—Andrew Asch
