REI Moves
Seattle-based outdoor apparel and gear retail co-op REI will open a new store in Santa Barbara and move its current store in Santa Ana to a larger, 33,500-square-foot space at The Market Place in Tustin. The Santa Barbara store is more than 24,500 square feet and will include a bike shop, gear-rental department, and community space for nonprofits and outdoor organizations. The new Tustin store will carry 30 percent more merchandise than the existing Santa Ana store.
