Lectra Taps New Managing Director of Greater China
Paris-based technology solution company Lectra named Andreas A. Kim managing director of Lectra Greater China.
Lectra began working in Greater China in 1986 and today works with nearly 2,000 customers. The company has a staff of 90 in the region working in offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangshou and Taipei, as well as several service locations.
“In these very challenging times, Lectra has a vital role to play in supporting the textile industry and maintaining a permanent communication link between its experts and customers in Greater China, said Lectra Chief Executive Officer Daniel Harari.
Kim was previously senior vice president for marketing and services for Lectra Asia-Pacific, which is based in Shanghai. Before joining the company, he held positions at Texas Instruments, Sun Microsystems and Tektronix.
Lectra also recently named Celine Peres as communications director for the company, based in Lectra’s Paris headquarters. Before joining Lectra, Peres spent 10 years at Dassault Systegrave;mes, holding several positions, including marketing project manager.—Alison A. Nieder
