Gilt Groupe Launches iPad App

If you were one of the lucky ones to get their hands on an Apple iPad over the weekend, you’ll also be one of the first to test drive the new shopping application from flash-sale e-tail site Gilt Groupe.
The Gilt iPad app touts sale-alerts delivery and quick touch-and-grab capabilities to get items into the cart from anywhere. Mobile shopping apps may lead the charge for fashion on the iPad, which lends itself for a better shopping experience thanks to a much larger screen.
With Interview magazine offering an entire issue through the iPad, it’ll be only a matter of time before more style apps follow suit.
