Colorep Is Now AirDye
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.–based Colorep Inc. has changed its name to AirDye Solutions in recognition of the market success of its AirDye technology for dyeing fabric.
AirDye uses 95 percent less water to create prints and up to 88 percent less water to create solids, compared with traditional dye and print methods, according to the company, which says the technology also enables printers to create different patterns on both sides of a piece of fabric.
AirDye fabrics have been used in the fashion collections of Costello Tagliapietra, Hunter Douglas, Stacy Garcia, Elaine Ferguson Designs and Miss Peaches Swimwear, according to the company.
AirDye is a registered trademark of Colorep, creators of printing and dyeing technologies AirDye and Ecobanner, which are managed through Colorep subsidiaries Transprint and BetaColor. Transprint also produces heat-transfer paper for design, fabric and finished goods.
