Cherokee Home Introduced in Mexico
Van Nuys–based Cherokee Inc. kicked off its bedding and home-textiles division through a licensing partnership with Comercial Mexicana stores in Mexico. Cherokee recently released photos of the new collection, praising the deal as a demonstration of “the strength of our retail direct licensing model.” Lala Somma, senior global brand manager for Cherokee Inc., added, “The category expansions at Comercial Mexicana exemplify the consumer acceptance of the Cherokee brand in categories beyond clothing.”
