Will Design for Scholarship
Ezekiel, the Irvine, Calif.-based surf/skate brand, and the Active Ride chain of stores have partnered to launch "Needle Thread," a design competition for six graduates of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. The six young designers have been tasked to design items that will be shown on the runway during Style Week Orange County at the Irvine Spectrum on Sept. 25. The designs will be judged by a panel of fashion industry experts and the winner will recieve $4,000 and see his/her winning designs produced as part of Ezekiel's Spring 2010 collection.
