MAGIC Confirms Move
Woodland Hills–based Advanstar Fashion Week, owners of the MAGIC Marketplace and the Project Global Trade Show, have confirmed rumors that Project and part of MAGIC will move to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. (California Apparel News first reported the rumors on Sept. 4, but the trade show giant declined to comment.) An announcement on the MAGIC Web site said Project and the menswear sections of MAGIC will move to Mandalay Bay and the women’s exhibitors in WWDMAGIC will remain in the Las Vegas Convention Center but will move to the Central Hall. Pooltradeshow and Sourcing at MAGIC will remain at the LVCC, which will also house MAGIC’s new footwear show, FN Platform.
