Spillane in at Converse
Michael Spillane will take over as chief executive officer of Converse, replacing Jack Boys, who is retiring from the company at the end of the year. Spillane has been with Converse since 2007. He has previously held CEO positions at Polartec and Malden Mills and senior positions at Tommy Hilfiger and Jockey. Founded in 1908, Converse Inc. is a subsidiary of Beaverton, Ore.–based Nike Inc.
