Puma’s Preservation Efforts
Footwear and athletic apparel maker Puma is supporting a Kenya nonprofit group that helps preserve biodiversity on Maasai tribal lands in East Africa. The Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust promotes conservation, education and health services among members of the Maasai community. Puma will also serve as an official sponsor of the Maasai Marathon, a race run by 30 people and led by three Maasai warriors and actor Edward Norton, who will run in the ING New York City Marathon on Nov. 1 on behalf of the M.W.C.T. Puma is based in Herzogenaurach, Germany; Boston; London; and Hong Kong.
