Trends for Spring 2010 on View
Directives West and The Doneger Group presented its “Spring 2010 Contemporary, Juniors and Girls Fashion Show” on Oct. 5 at the California Market Center.
The presentation, held in the Fashion Theater, highlighted themes and essentials for retailers during the Los Angeles Majors Market.
The buying office predicted that trends such as prairie-inspired Americana styles, romantic pieces with an air of decay, and a mix of ethnic-inspired prints and futuristic silhouettes will be key to the contemporary customer next season.
Juniors customers will continue to respond to denim in unique washes, leggings, rompers and shorts. New juniors trends for Spring 2010 will include party skirts, woven tops, vests in a variety of fabrications and cardigans, The Doneger Group predicted.—Erin Barajas
