New Era for Spike Lee
Buffalo, N.Y.–based New Era Cap. Co. Inc., maker of the on-field caps for Major League Baseball, has teamed up with director Spike Lee to create the newest addition to Lee’s Spike Lee Joint cap collection, which launched in 2009. The “Spike Lee Joint 2.0” is the second cap in the Spike Lee Joint collection and the third Lee has designed for New Era. Lee, a lifelong Yankees fan, inscribed each cap with every year the Yankees won the championship. Only 750 caps will be manufactured and sold at the New Era Flagship store at Yankee Stadium in New York.
