The annual Divine Design gala will take place Dec. 3 at the Beverly Hilton and will honor Steve Kolb, executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, as Man of Style; “Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks as Woman of Style; Mattel's Barbie as Fashion Icon; and co-founder of interior design firm Kneedler-Fauchere Dorothy Kneedler Lawenda with the Posthumous Interior Design Pioneer Award, with ELLE Magazine Creative Director Joe Zee serving as Honorary Fashion Chair and ELLE Decor Editor-in-Chief Margaret Russell and interior designer Michael Smith as Honorary Co-Chairs for Home.
This year, the Divine Design marketplace, located at 9900 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills, will allow shoppers looking for discounted designer apparel, accessories, beauty products and home decor several ways to shop the goods. A VIP Shopping night will kick off Dec. 3 with special cocktails, hor d'oeuvres and first peek at all the designs. Tickets for the VIP event can be purchased here. General shopping days start Dec. 4 and last until Dec. 7, and we’re offering Apparel News readers a coupon offering $10 off general admission, enclosed below.
The list of participating designers includes BCBG, Band of Outsiders, Trovata, Monique Lhuillier, Elizabeth and James, among many others.
Proceeds from Divine Design benefit Project Angel Food in Los Angeles. This year marks Project Angel Food's 20th anniversary.
