Going Japanese
After opening its first store in the Harajuku district of Tokyo in April, Forever 21 is expanding its Japanese footprint to open two to three more stores in the next nine to 12 months. Joining in on the fast-fashion retail action, Hennes & Mauritz of Sweden, which has five shops in Japan, is getting ready to open a full-concept store in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. It will feature H&M’s new line of Jimmy Choo–designed shoes.
