City of Hope Honors Simso Tex's Eli Simsollo and Joe Simsolo
Eli Simsollo and Joe Simsolo, the father-and-son team at Los Angeles–based sublimation printer Simso Tex, will receive the “Spirit of Life” award from the City of Hope on Nov. 14 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills.
City of Hope’s Apparel Industries Group will present Eli Simsollo, Simso Tex president, and Joe Simsolo, Simso Tex vice president, with the award at its annual gala, which raises funds for the City of Hope in Duarte, Calif. Founded in 1913, City of Hope is an independent biomedical research, treatment and education institution dedicated to fight cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
Past Spirit of Life honorees include Mark Werts, founder and chief executive officer of American Rag Cie, and Michael Ball, founder of Rock & Republic.
