New CEO of Lucky Brand
New York–based Liz Claiborne Inc. named Tom Fitzgerald chief executive officer of Lucky Brand Jeans. Previously, he served as interim chief executive officer and senior vice president, direct brand services for Liz’s Mexx Worldwide division. In his new position, he will be working closely with Lucky Brand President Liz Munoz and co-founders Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman, according to a company statement. Liz Claiborne also announced Thomas Johannes Grote, former president of Esprit, has been named chief executive officer of Mexx.
