Sullen Moves to the Beach
Sullen Clothing has relocated its corporate headquarters to Huntington Beach, Calif., from its longtime home in Irvine, Calif.
The recent move triples the size of the company’s headquarters and should accommodate plans to expand into new categories, said Jeremy Hanna, director of marketing and wholesaling.
The 8-year-old brand, known for its tattoo art–printed tees and other garments, expanded into womenswear last year. This summer it will roll out bikinis as well as a collaboration line with San Francisco artist Shawn Barber.
“We’ve been bursting at the seams, so we just had to move into a bigger space,” Hanna said. “We’ve mainly been known as a West Coast art-driven brand but were growing more in the Midwest and East Coast as well as internationally.”
