Focal Tech Gains Microsoft Honor
Los Angeles–based Focal Technology Solutions was named a finalist for this year’s Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards in the category of citizenship.
Focal was chosen among 2,000 companies around the world. Koenig Solutions of India was named the winner in the category, which recognizes companies that have made an impact in the communities in which they operate.
Focal Tech, in conjunction with partners AIMS software and Fashion Business Inc., created a job-skills training curriculum that aided displaced workers in the apparel industry.
“Partners are the key to igniting business innovation through great technology as well as helping customers drive down costs,” said Allison L. Watson, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Group.
