Elaine Kim Offers a Peek Inside New Studio

Designer Elaine Kim typically limits access to her design studio to clients only. But after moving to a new location, at 8373 W. Third St. in Los Angeles, the designer hosted an open-to-the-public pop-up sale on June 13 for her eponymous line’s current collection.
Kim moved her design studio up the street from its previous location at Martel Avenue. The new studio space will house her collection of high-end structural pieces that consist of tops, pants, jackets and dresses.
According to Kim, she hopes to use the space as a gallery for other designers, artists and performers.
