Rocawear's China Deal
New York–based Iconix Brand Group announced plans to take its Rocawear streetwear brand to China. Iconix China, the company’s joint venture with Novel Fashion Holding Ltd., struck a deal with Bosideng International Holdings to expand Rocawear in China. Under the terms of the deal, Bosideng will manufacture and distribute Rocawear men’s and women’s products in Greater China beginning with the Spring 2010 collection. Plans call for more than 300 Rocawear free-standing stores and shop-in-shop concepts to open within the next three years.
