Gap to Open Pop-Up Shop on Robertson
Gap will open a pop-up shop on 108 N. Robertson Blvd., pictured above. It is scheduled to debut Aug. 6
Just when you thought there was no room for another jeans boutique on Los Angeles’ high-profile Robertson Boulevard, it has been confirmed that Gap Inc. will open a jeans bar pop-up store at 108 N. Robertson Blvd. It will be located in a space formerly occupied by footwear boutique Robert Clergerie, said Jay Luchs, the CB Richard Ellis executive who made the deal with Gap.
The Gap pop-up is scheduled to open around Aug. 6 and should be doing business on Robertson for two months. Luchs said this deal signifies that Robertson will soon be a street without vacancies. Currently there are five vacancies on the street, which is home to boutiques for jeans brands True Religion, Paige Premium Denim, 7 For All Mankind and Rock Republic. Gap Inc. did not return calls requesting comment. Robert Clergerie left Robertson around April 2008. The footwear boutique moved to Beverly Hills. The 108 N. Robertson space has been vacant since then.
