CurvExpo Partners With Lingerie Trend-Forecasting Service Concepts Paris
Paris-based trend-forecasting service Concepts Paris has its eye on the North American market. The lingerie trend-forecasting company has provided fashion-trend presentations seen at the top international lingerie trade shows, such as Salon International de la Lingerie and Mode City Paris, Shanghai Mode, and Hong Kong Mode Lingerie.
CurveNY will partner with Concepts Paris during its Aug. 2–4 run of CurveNY in New York and will conduct an audio-visual trend presentation titled “Signs of Change.” Concepts Paris Head Designer Jos Berry said in a statement about the partnership: “A new-generation fair, Curve puts the accent on serendipity, happy encounters and emotional energy that results from gatherings of like spirits. In this context of change and discovery, Concepts Paris looks forward to an exciting partnership with Curve. We both like to synergize energies so that we are larger than the sum of our parts. At CurveNY, Concepts Paris’ Jennifer Kell will present our audio-visual ’Signs of Change’ with the focus on everything a true professional needs to know to face the challenges of tomorrow.”
Ellen Lewis, founder of consultant company Intimate Product Concepts, will serve as Concepts Paris’ North American liaison. Lewis has more than three decades of experience in the intimate-apparel industry. Her consultant company counts top retailers and intimate-apparel brands as her clients. “I don’t think anyone covers lingerie quite like Concepts Paris does,” Lewis said. “When I go to one of their presentations for [my clients], I can walk out of there and I can make a list of the 10 most important things I learned. It’s easy to understand the main points. I’ve used it in my whole career.”—Rhea Cortado
