CFA to Host Discussion of Hot-Button Issues

The California Fashion Association and J.H. Cohn LLP, a financial accounting firm, will host “Los Angeles: The Epicenter of Fashion” to discuss “hot-button issues” for the apparel industry July 23 in the California Market Center’s Fashion Theatre. Ilse Metchek, president of the CFA, will address a range of issues, including the “10+2” ruling, which addresses importer security filings; the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act; California’s Proposition 65; the Design Piracy Prohibition Act; the Employee Free Choice Act; and more.
