VF#039;s New Initiatives
Greensboro, N.C.–based VF Corp. is splitting its 5-year-old Outdoor Americas coalition with two new sections: Outdoor Americas and Action Sports Americas. Steve Rendle, current president of The North Face, has been promoted to president of VF’s Outdoor Americas coalition, where he will oversee VF’s The North Face, JanSport and Eagle Creek divisions. Stephen Murray, current president of VF’s Vans label, has been promoted to president of the Action Sports Americas coalition, where he will continue to oversee Vans, as well as VF’s Reef division. Dave Gatto, current president of VF Outdoor Americas, is leaving the company. Martino Scabbia Guerrini, current president of VF International Sportswear and Packs, has been promoted to president of another new division, Sportswear and Contemporary Brands EMEA coalition. In addition to overseeing the Kipling, Napapijri and Eastpak brands, Guerrini will also oversee VF’s 7 For All Mankind division.
