Scout Moving to Hollywood
Scout LA is relocating to Hollywood.
Owner and designer Joey Grana is closing the doors of the Third Street boutique at the end of January and will reopen in March at 1646 Cherokee St., located between Hollywood Boulevard and Selma Avenue.
The boutique, which opened five years ago, began with the concept of featuring local and emerging designers alongside relevant vintage designers. Eventually, the store grew and expanded into a more international realm, mixing well-known brands with up-and-coming local designers, including its own house label.
The store will re-open in March with a new image and design. Before the Third Street store closes, Grana is blowing out merchandise with a sale set to run Jan. 23– 25. Designers include womenswear by C. Neeon, Voeu, Cameo, Rhys Dwfen, Henrik Vibskov, Swash, Rita Flora and Scout; menswear by Vroom, Wayne Hadly, Endovanera, Lova and Henrik Vibskov; and accessoriesby Mended Veil and Onward Through the Fog. All sale items are priced under $100—a savings of 50 percent to 90 percent off full retail. All vintage items will be sold for $25 each. —N. Jayne Seward
