L.A. Times Magazine's Goldstein Debuts Line for QVC
QVC returned to the runway in New York with a collection designed by stylist Lori Goldstein for the shopping TV network.
Goldstein is the fashion director of Los Angeles Times Magazine. On Feb. 14, QVC debuted her Logo by Lori Goldstein collection at a QVC fashion show at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.
The fashion show represents the second time that the West Chester, Penn.–based shopping TV channel has produced a runway show at New York Fashion Week. The first was in September 2008, and the show received a record viewership for QVC, according to the network’s merchandising director, Kelly Santos. She declined to state ratings for that show. QVC hopes to produce future shows for the upcoming New York Fashion Weeks. She said the network had not discussed producing shows for fashion weeks in Los Angeles. QVC claimed it earned more than $7 billion in net sales for the 2007 fiscal year.
