Bundling Up
Just in time for the Fall 2009 season, Phillips-Van Heusen has granted its Izod outerwear license to Free Country Ltd., a 19-year-old outerwear maker based in New York. Free Country will design, produce and market men’s and women’s coats and jackets in the United States under the Izod brand and its sublabels. Coats will retail for $100 to $225. Collezione SA Corp. remains Phillips-Van Heusen’s licensee for men’s and women’s leather outerwear sold in the United States.
