Life Is Good Adopts Remote Order System

Boston-based lifestyle brand Life Is Good is trying to make life easier for its retailers and sales reps after installing a new remote sales system that allows them to place and track orders 24/7 over the Internet.

Denver-based CenterStone Technologies Inc. recently hooked the company up to its iVendix system to enable retailers and reps to view sales catalogs online as well as check availability of products, place orders and track existing ones.

Life Is Good, which sells apparel and other products bearing the upbeat slogan, runs its general operations using SAP, and its technology team wanted a system that could integrate into SAP’s.

“These are very challenging economic times for the specialty-retailing community, and vendors need to look for new ways to foster the continued viability of this channel, and having a B2B e-commerce solution is a necessity,” said CenterStone Chief Executive Officer Tom Detmer.

CenterStone’s customer base includes O’Neill Clothing, Perry Ellis, The North Face, JanSport, Vans, Reef and VF Imagewear, among others. For more information, visit www.centerstonetech.com. —Robert McAllister
