Frederick's Parent Co. Names New CEO
Thomas Lynch was named chief executive officer of Frederick’s of Hollywood Group Inc., the New York–based public company that directs wholesale operations for Los Angeles–based Frederick’s of Hollywood, and its retail operations, which are composed of 130 boutiques and an e-commerce shop (www.fredericks.com).
Linda Lo Re will continue as president and chief executive of the retail division, which maintains its headquarters in Los Angeles’ Hollywood district.
Frederick’s of Hollywood Group Inc. is the product of a December 2006 merger between retailer Frederick’s of Hollywood and lingerie wholesaler Movie Star Inc.
In its most recent quarterly release of financial performance for the quarter ended Oct. 25, 2008, total net sales for the company were more than $42 million, compared with the same quarter in the previous year, when net sales for the company were more than $37 million. —Andrew Asch
