Anvarian Joins Three Dots
Designer Pegah Anvarian has joined Los Angeles–based contemporary brand Three Dots as its creative director.
Anvarian, who produced an eponymous fashion line also based in Los Angeles, will bring her upscale aesthetic and signature style to Three Dots. Buyers will first see her influence on Three Dots’ offerings in the Fall 2009 collection, which will feature a sheer custom-knit jersey. Anvarian, who is known for her draping and use of mixed fabrics, will expand Three Dots’ offerings to include more fashion pieces such as tweed knit jackets and skirts constructed with ponte fabric inserts.
“Pegah brings a wealth of innovative ideas and effusive energy to the company, and we’re excited to move the collection forward with her creative direction,” said Sharon Lebon, Three Dots’ president and founder.
Anvarian has plans to add swimwear, wovens and accessories to Three Dots’ offerings and expand distribution overseas. —Erin Barajas
