Lectra Promotes Ribera
Paris-based software solutions and equipment maker Lectra named company veteran Philippe Ribera software marketing director. He is based in Paris.
Ribera has been with Lectra for 20 years, serving in various positions in marketing and sales development in the United States and France. Most recently, he was marketing director for France. Before that, he was sales director of Lectra’s U.S. subsidiary.
He also serves on the board of directors of the International Apparel Federation, an organization with an international membership that includes representatives from across the apparel supply chain. Members include clothing associations, manufacturers, retailers and distributors, as well as educational institutions and textile and technology providers.
In his new position, Ribera will be responsible for Lectra’s software marketing for all industries. According to the company, one of Ribera’s main priorities will be the company’s strategy for its Lectra Fashion PLM (product lifecycle management) software.
“Our PLM strategy, based on the integration of the applications necessary to plan, manage, create and develop collections, associated with our value-added offer, will be the cornerstone of Lectra’s growth,” he said. “With our Lectra Fashion PLM, we offer a business-oriented approach for the whole value chain based on best practices acquired over 35 years working with the biggest names in fashion.”—Alison A.
