Fashion, Art and Music in Downtown L.A.
Leave it to Los Angeles designers and artists to combine forces for a day of art, fashion and music. Lucy B lingerie David Solomon and the Downtown Art Gallery will hold an open house and sample sale on Dec. 5 in downtown L.A. The collaborative event will take place in their respective studios at 1611 S. Hope St. from 2 pm to 10 pm. Guests can shop for deals from Lucy B.’s vintage-inspired lingerie and for clothing, paper and prints featuring fashion illustrations by the David Solomon Company. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to view the fine artwork of the Downtown Art Gallery's artists and owner Juan Rosillo. The Colombian-born fine artist is known for his printmaking and artwork commissioned by the City of Los Angeles. Prints of Rosillo’s work will also be available at the event. To top off the festivities, David Solomon, owned by husband-and-wife music-and-design duo Gustavo and Corrie Osuna, will have a fashion show at 7 pm. The show will feature live music by the David Solomon band and a cozy chic collection of sweaters with oversized collars and trapeze and bubble shapes.
