Sound of Skaters: Matix Launches Headphones
For girls, fierce shoes and handbags are the status accessories. For guys, it's the latest electronic toys that serve as their accessory peacock feathers. Skateboard lifestyle clothing company Matix just made it easier for skater boys to upgrade their standard headphones to models with more fashion panache with its new line of unisex headphones.
The Sound of Progress, headphones by Matix will retail for about $75 and will be available in retail stores starting in October. In November and January, Matix plans to roll out more models designed with the flair of Matix-sponsored pro skaters. Pro skater Torey Pudwill’s Bulkhead model will be infused with a rasta-inspired color scheme, and pro skater Jeron Wilson will unveil a “Diamond X Jeron Wilson” collaboration on the original Domepiece model.
Matix kicks off The Sound of Progress, headphones by Matix launch with a party in Las Vegas tonight at the Caramel Bar Lounge at the Bellagio Resort Casino.
