New Era for New Era
Buffalo, N.Y.–based New Era Cap Co. Inc. acquired Miami-based 5th & Ocean, which manufactures apparel for Major League Baseball, Dallas Cowboys Merchandising and Victoria’s Secret/PINK. New Era makes the “official on-field cap” for Major League Baseball. In 2007, the company expanded beyond hats into apparel and recently launched “New Era Presents Tradition,” a collection of apparel and headwear that supports historically black colleges and universities.
