Loree Rodkin Launches Home & Beauty Collection

Loree Rodkin's home and body collection launched at Coco de Mer.

Loree Rodkin is expanding her brand of luxe. The designer, perhaps best known for creating Michelle Obama’s inaugural jewelry, recently launched a home and body collection. Building on the worldwide success of her fine jewelry, Rodkin is set to expand her vision of style into the home. Rodkin debuted her new wares on Aug. 6 at Coco de Mer, the erotic lingerie and gift boutique on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Rodkin has slowly expanded her repertoire over the past two decades to include eyewear, handbags and her signature Gothic I scent. The event marked the official launch of four new fragrances, candles, bath and body oil, talc-free powder, and soap. Rodkin said she wanted to create something sensual – an opium den type of feeling with the collection. The darkly seductive nuance is perfect fit for her jewelry that blurs the line between modern and medieval. Think high-end Goth for Hollywood’s elite – Rodkin has crafted pieces for Madonna, Cher and Sir Elton John. “Global domination is really important for all of us,” said Rodkin. “I love to keep moving... and creating fragrances is so much fun for me,” she added. The products will be available at specialty boutiques around the world that carry her eponymous brand - just look for the luxe croc-printed packaging. Current stores include Maxfield in Los Angeles, Browns in London, and Podium in Paris and Russia.
