Revolve Clothing Goes Into Rewind
Online boutique Revolve Clothing has opened a new e-tail site, Rewind, featuring pop-up sales and discounted merchandise from its roster of hip designers. Taking a cue from sites such as Hautelook and Gilt Groupe, Rewind holds temporary sales of select brands. Current sales events include Paige Premium Denim, Paige Black Label and Voom by Joy Han.
The site is currently invitation-only, but once in, visitors can shop the pop-up sales as well as markdowns of more than 2,000 pieces.
Rewind is the second satellite for Revolve Clothing. The e-commerce site launched Foward last year, which houses high-end designs by Alexander Wang, Erin Fetherston and Jeremy Scott, among others.
Given the growing popularity and success of pop-up sales sites, Rewind could not have come at a better time.
