DC Opens Fourth in Irvine
Vista-based DC Shoes, a division of Huntington Beach–based Quiksilver, will open its fourth flagship store, which will be located in Irvine. The store will feature many of the details of its Los Angeles store on Melrose Avenue, including an inverted vert ramp along the ceiling and large-format images of DC’s team of athletes and company history. The new store will carry DC’s apparel and footwear collections for men, women and kids, including skateboarding shoes, lifestyle footwear and apparel, and seasonal products such as outerwear, snowboarding boots and accessories. The store will also carry DC’s new line of snowboards. To celebrate the flagship, the company is hosting a grand-opening event on Sept. 20.
