Gossip Girl vs. Rocker Chic at DVF
NEW YORK—Diane von Furstenberg’s PR team must have been working overtime because her front row looked more like a who’s who of beautiful people. Gracing those coveted seats were Uma Thurman, Rosario Dawson, Molly Sims, Jennifer Lopez and current it-girl Leighton Meester.
Apparently these fashionistas were embracing textural glamour because von Furstenberg’s “Rock Goddess” collection mixed bright hues with crisp white ensembles to create a bohemian-chic sophistication. “Gossip Girl” star Meester seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the show—perhaps her character Blair Waldorf will eschew her preppy tartans and headbands for rocker-chic style?
