Syspro's ERP Appeals to Small Businesses
Taiwanese footwear and apparel manufacturer Pou Chen Corp. signed a contract to use business-management software by Costa Mesa, Calif.–based Syspro.
The deal was facilitated by Syspro’s reseller, Technologies International Inc., based in Chino, Calif.
Pou Chen will use Syspro’s enterprise resource planning system for two of its divisions in Tijuana, Mexico, which manufacture for the American market.
Pou Chen has been using Syspro for two facilities it owns in the United States.
The Syspro ERP system manages financials and inventory controls with offshore factories. Pou Chen’s division in Ontario, Calif., called Pro Link, will also be connected to the system. It is the purchasing arm of the Tijuana facilities, handling all purchases of raw materials in the United States.
Tom Lantzourakis, senior business systems consultant at Tech International, said Syspro has appealed to small- to midmarket companies. The company now has 14,000 licenses in more than 50 countries. For more information, visit www.syspro.com. —Robert McAllister
