Gray's Day at Smashbox
Singer Macy Gray was front and center at two of Thursday’s shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, Calif.
The singer, clad in blue jeans and a colorful Ed Hardy T-shirt, admired the elegant gowns that Norwegian designer Leila Hafzi showed on the runway. She liked them so much that she was meeting with the designer on Friday to talk about acquiring a few.
She made certain to stay for the following show by her friend Nonja McKenzie. The designer, who is also a stylist, was presenting her first collection of glitzy dresses and evening attire.
“Her things looked beautiful and really comfortable,” the singer said.
