Honoring Juicy Couture at FIDM
A fashionable crowd turned out to honor Juicy Couture founders Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor at the Nov. 12 unveiling of the Juicy Couture Dedication Wall at the Fashion Institute of Design Merchandising in downtown Los Angeles.
The 32-foot wall, located on FIDM’s third floor, features symbols and imagery that pay homage to Juicy’s whimsical/luxury style. Skaist-Levy is a FIDM alumna, and the two designers were on hand at event.
Designer, “Project Runway” alum and FIDM instructor Nick Verreos was on the scene, and he blogs about it here.
