More Macy's in L.V., Phoenix
Cincinnati-based Macy’s Inc. will open a new Macy’s store in Las Vegas in late 2009. The new store will be located at General Growth Properties’ new open-air shopping center, The Shops at Summerlin Centre. The 180,000-square-foot, two-level store is the fifth in the Las Vegas metropolitan area and will be run by the Macy’s West division, based in San Francisco. The store will feature apparel and accessories for men, women and children, as well as home deacute;cor and other merchandise for the home. The department-store giant is also opening three new Macy’s stores in the Phoenix area over the next two years. Stores are planned for SanTan Village in Gilbert, Ariz.; Estrella Falls in Goodyear, Ariz.; and CityNorth in Phoenix.
