Kohl's Sees the Light
Menomonee Falls, Wis.–based Kohl’s Department Stores announced plans to convert more than 50 stores in New Jersey, Connecticut and Maryland to solar power. Once completed, the solar stores will represent nearly 80 percent of its locations in the three states. Kohl’s has already converted more than 25 of its 88 California stores to solar power, and the retailer plans to convert another 50 stores in the state to solar power. Solar installations are also planned for three stores in Wisconsin.
