PVH Acquires Mulberry Thai
New York–based Phillips–Van Heusen Corp., owner of the Calvin Klein and Izod brands, acquired certain assets of tie maker Mulberry Thai Silks Inc. for approximately $10 million. As part of the deal, PVH landed the rights to produce neckwear under the Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction, J. Garcia, Liz Claiborne, Sean John, BCBG Max Azria, BCBG Attitude, U.S. Polo Association, Axcess and Henry Jacobson brands, as well as the rights to the Henry Jacobson brand for all menswear categories.
