MAGIC Goes Green
Tradeshow giant MAGIC International will host a green section called Ecollection@MAGIC at the Aug. 25–27 run of the MAGIC Marketplace in Las Vegas.
Headed by eco consultant Lorelyn Eaves, the new section will highlight environmentally conscious apparel and brands, as well as provide access to information about eco-friendly materials and sustainable business. Eaves is a board member of the Los Angeles Sustainable Business Council and the former vice president of marketing for the California Market Center.
Ecollection is partnering with the Organic Exchange and MusicMatters, a green entertainment and marketing company, to produce the section, which will also highlight education, music, art and networking opportunities.
The show will be held in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.Among the brands and companies already onboard are Alternative Earth, Jonano, ONNO, bgreen, Beckons Organic, Dash Hemp, Escama Studio, Spiritual Gangster, Z-Ply’s Earth Co., Ecoland Inc., Tika Merino and Intertec’s Suria, according to a company statement. The juried show is expected to feature 60 to 80 brands.
