Kate's New COO and Co-Prez
Kate Spade, a division of New York–based Liz Claiborne Inc., named Craig Leavitt co-president and chief operating officer. He will begin in April. Previously, Leavitt was president of global retail at Link Theory Holdings. He will work with Co-President and Creative Director Deborah Lloyd on overall leadership of the Kate Spade brand. Prior to Link Theory, Leavitt’s long history in the industry includes stints at Theory, Helmut Lang, Diesel and Polo Ralph Lauren.
