L.A. Fashion Week '08: Maxine Dillon
Maxine Dillon chose the perfect sunny afternoon to hold her debut trunk show. The designer offered items from her Spring 2008 collection and also previewed Fall on March 9 at Aero & Co. on Los Angeles’ Third Street. Dillon, who also works at Aero & Co., recently shuttered her Figment label to launch her eponymous label for Spring. The collection was fun and modern with easy-to-wear dresses, rompers and vests. Dillon said she designs for the modern art girl who frequents art galleries and lives in the newly revived downtown Los Angeles neighborhood. —N. Jayne Seward
