Mayor to Open L.A. Market
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be on hand to open the Los Angeles Fashion Market at the California Market Center on March 14. The mayor will greet buyers and invited guests at a breakfast hosted by the Los Angeles Fashion District Business Improvement District and sponsored by the CMC. Sue Wong, Christian Audigier and other Los Angeles designers will be on hand at the 9 a.m. event, to be held in the CMC lobby. At 9:30 a.m., Mayor Villaraigosa will address the crowd and officially open the Spring ’08 market, which runs though March 18.
