Apparel maker Cygne Designs Inc. received notification from NASDAQ officials that the New York company may be delisted from that stock exchange. On July 16, the company received a letter warning executives that their stock had been trading for less than $1 during the last 30 consecutive business days. Unless the clothing venture requests an appeal, its common stock will be suspended from trading on July 25. One of Cygne’s major stockholders is Los Angeles businessman Hubert Guez. Cygne makes men’s and women’s private-label blue jeans for retailers as well as casual and career apparel.
