The House of Karl Lagerfeld
Designer Karl Lagerfeld will design limited-edition homes on Isla Moda, a planned fashion island community located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Lagerfeld is the first of five designers to strike a deal with investment company Dubai Infinity Holdings, which plans to turn Isla Moda into an international destination with a fashion theme. The mixed-use development will “combine a fashion resort, haute couture residential villas, bespoke retail offerings and luxury hospitality facilities,” including The Hotel Moda, a 250-room luxury hotel and design studios to help produce fashion events and produce launches on the island.
